Our Mission
Our Values
Rescue | Rehabilitation | Release | Education | Community
Animal welfare is the fundamental focus of what we do. We offer expert rescue, rehabilitation and care while concentrating on a successful release back into the wild wherever possible.
We link with local universities to promote academic research to improve the understanding of British wildlife. We engage with schools and community groups to inspire and promote wildlife and environmental conservation.
We are focused on careful and appropriate use of our resources and acknowledge the vital contribution of our supporters.
We respect and appreciate the essential support of our dedicated volunteers and staff, recognising their individual contributions.
Our Vision
For no British wildlife to suffer needlessly and to motivate and inspire a love, appreciation and understanding of British wildlife and the environment as a whole.
Following several years of development, we now have a solid foundation to launch our ambitious five-year strategic plan. Our aim is to expand the services we provide to keep up with the increasing number of hedgehogs needing our help by moving to new, purpose built, premises which will also allow further development of our educational offer and our research.
